Ellen Kennedy Living Center is located just west of MercyOne Medical Center in Dyersville, Iowa.
The design is a 2-story, fully accessible building with 32 Assisted Living Apartments on the 1st Floor and 26 Independent Living
Apartments on the 2nd Floor.
Underground parking is available for those making the Ellen Kennedy Living Center their home.
EKLC is a community non-for-profit organization, rooted in the Catholic tradition. The Center provides housing opportunities for all qualified persons 55 years of age or older without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, religion, sex, disability, handicap or veteran status and must be capable of living independently with assistance as needed.
Assisted Living Apartment Features
EKLC has 29 one-bedroom apartments, two studio apartments, and one two-bedroom apartment. A personal service plan is developed based on your individual needs.
Each apartment has a large kitchen equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. You provide your own furniture and decorate your apartment to your individual taste and personality.
Independent Living Apartment Features
The Ellen Kennedy independent apartments have their own separate entrance on the second level. The apartments are designed to offer privacy, comfort, and convenience to meet your lifestyle. There are 19 two-bedroom units and 7 one-bedroom units.
Each apartment is furnished with a stove, refrigerator with ice maker, over the range microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. You provide your own furniture and decorate your apartment to your individual taste and personality. Three meals per day can be provided if you desire that additional service.
